Technical Business Development Manager 
Gliwice (remote/hybrid)

Job description:

  • Analyze customer mission needs and map them to KP Labs’ technical capabilities (onboard data processing, AI in space). 
  • Participate in technical meetings, clarify system interfaces, constraints, and feasibility for the customers 
  • Support creation of technical and business sections of proposals, including ESA / Horizon Europe / NCBiR, etc.  
  • Bridge engineering teams with customers: gather requirements, prepare solution concepts, and ensure alignment. 
  • Identify high value opportunities across European space sector stakeholders (industry, primes, agencies, integrators). 
  • Support the bidding/offering process: inputs to pricing, scope, work breakdown, technical compliance matrices. 
  • Conduct market and competitive analysis to guide product strategy and BD roadmap. 
  • Represent KP Labs at industry events, conferences, and workshops. 
  • Work with engineering teams on shaping future features based on customer trends & market needs. 
  • Support exploitation activities and KPI planning for new product launches. 

What we expect:

  • Engineering degree (preferred: space systems, electronics, computer engineering, mechatronics).  
  • Experience in the space sector (industry, ESA projects, subsystem development, or mission engineering). 
  • Ability to understand and explain complex technical concepts to customers. 
  • Experience in preparing technical documentation, proposals, or system analyses. 
  • Excellent command of English, written and spoken. 
  • Strong communication skills and high personal culture. 
  • Pitching and presentation skills. 

Nice to have:

  • Familiarity with OBC/DPUs, satellite avionics, AI/ML payloads, or other spacecraft subsystems.  
  • Experience with ESA reviews, technical meetings, or tendering processes.  
  • Experience in B2B technical sales or customer-facing engineering roles.
