Job description:
  • Drive the product vision in collaboration with business development and technical teams.
  • Create and manage the product backlog, system requirements, and development lifecycle.
  • Support customer discussions by translating business needs into technical requirements.
  • Prepare and maintain technical and Product Assurance documentation.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable industry standards and product assurance requirements.
  • Coordinate the integration of our data processing units with customers' satellite systems.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams throughout the product development process.
  • Follow the latest trends in space technology and on-board data processing to continuously improve our solutions.
What we expect:
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a related engineering field.
  • Proven experience as a Systems Engineer, Technical Product Owner, Solution Architect, or in a similar role within the space industry.
  • Strong understanding of interfaces between electronics hardware, embedded software, application software, and thermo-mechanical systems.
  • Knowledge of in-space optical data acquisition and data handling.
  • Experience working with technical documentation and engineering standards.
  • Excellent communication skills, including the ability to actively participate in technical discussions and prepare technical documentation, articles, and test reports in English.
  • Availability to work from our Gliwice office at least one day per week.
Nice to have:
  • Basic programming skills (e.g. Python) and familiarity with Git.
  • Knowledge of ECSS, CCSDS, or other space industry standards.
