Job Description
The Systems Engineer will lead the development and implementation of space-grade data processing units and projects related to on-orbit data processing. This role demands a combination of technical expertise, leadership skills, and a deep understanding of both the space industry, product management and product assurance. The successful candidate will:
• drive the product vision with business development and technical teams,
• create and manage the product backlog, requirements and development cycle,
• provide technical support for discussions and requests regarding customer needs/requirements,consolidate technical and PA documentation,
• work with the relevant standards to ensure product compliance and product assurance aspects,
• ensure the seamless integration of our data processing units with clients’ satellite systems,
• stay abreast of the latest trends in space technology and data processing, ensuring our products remain competitive and innovative.
What we except:
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electronics Engineering/Computer Science/Engineering, or related engineering field (embedded systems).
• Strong technical background and ability to understand interfaces between electronics hardware, embedded and application software as well as thermo-mechanical aspects.
• Ability to work with standards and documentation.
• Product assurance-oriented mindset.
• Effective communication skills, including the ability to actively participate in technical discussions, write technical papers, articles, and test reports in English.
• Proven experience as a Systems Engineer, Technical Product Owner, Solution Architect, Product Assurance in the space, aerospace, automotive or high-tech industry.
• Ability to work from office in Gliwice at least 1 day/week.
• Basic knowledge of tools like Git and programming (e.g., in Python) is an asset.
• Space industry experience and knowledge of industry standards (e.g., ECSS) is an asset.
