Job description:

  • Performing heat transfer analyses and presenting results to engineering teams and customers.
  • Solving thermal management challenges in satellite instruments during the early stages of development, with particular emphasis on the following tasks:

          - Conducting thermal analyses of devices operating in the space environment

          - Analyzing subsystem configuration variants with respect to temperature distribution

          - Managing thermal resistances in electronic device assemblies

          - Conducting reliability assessments and risk analyses

  • Close collaboration with electronics teams, mechanical configuration specialists, and system engineers.
  • Carrying out experimental tests using measurement equipment.
  • Preparing technical documentation and contributing to scientific publications.

What we except:

  • Minimum of a Master’s degree in power engineering, physics, electronics, or a related field with an emphasis on thermodynamics.
  • At least 2 years of professional experience in a similar position.
  • Hands-on experience with thermal testing.
  • Proficiency with state-of-the-art thermal analysis engineering tools (e.g. Simcenter FloEFD, ANSYS CFX/FLUENT, Simcenter 3D, ESATAN-TMS, or other comparable programs) and related 3D environments.
  • Fluent knowledge of English (B2/C1 level).
  • Strong analytical skills, curiosity, and the ability to search for information in available scientific sources.
  • Proactive attitude.

Nice to have:

  • Knowledge of electronics at the PCBA (Printed Circuit Board Assembly) level.
  • Interest in space and satellite technologies.
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Python and Fortran.
  • General understanding of manufacturing technologies for thermal solutions.
