Job description:

  • Performing FEA (FEM) analysis for equipment designed at KP Labs for the space industry.
  • Co-designing mechanical parts to operate in the space environment (including a flight on a launcher).
  • Selection of materials and manufacturing technologies.
  • Working closely with the designer, technologist, heat flow engineer and system engineer.
  • Planning and coordinating laboratory tests (including vibration tests).
  • Development of scientific articles and technical documentation.
  • Risk and reliability assessment of analyzed mechanical solutions.

What we expect:

  • Completed university degree or doctoral degree – mechanical, technological or related department.
  • Good knowledge of FEA (FEM) simulation software and the computational methods contained therein.
  • Knowledge of English at a communicative level.
  • Knowledge of the following topics is welcome: mechanical vibration, the strength of materials, fatigue of materials.

Nice to have:

  • Work experience in a similar position and knowledge of space industry requirements (ECSS) would be an asset.
