Procurement Specialist

Job description

• Managing end-to-end purchasing processes, with a focus on electronic components, materials, and services.
• Sourcing and evaluating suppliers in Poland and international markets.
• Preparing requests for quotation, analyzing offers, and negotiating prices and commercial terms.
• Placing purchase orders, monitoring their execution, and ensuring timely deliveries.
• Building and maintaining relationships with suppliers, including supplier evaluation and handling claims.
• Monitoring the market and identifying alternative sources of supply.
• Managing purchasing documentation and supporting import and customs processes.
• Cooperating with technical, project, and finance teams to ensure efficient purchasing processes.

What we expect

• Minimum 2 years of experience in purchasing, procurement, supply chain, or a similar role.
• Experience in technical purchasing, preferably related to electronics or a manufacturing environment.
• English at a minimum B2 level, allowing you to communicate effectively with international suppliers and work with commercial and technical documentation.
• Good knowledge of MS Excel.
• Ability to analyze offers and negotiate commercial terms.
• Ability to source and evaluate suppliers.
• Good work organization and ability to prioritize tasks.
• Independence, accuracy, and a strong sense of responsibility.
• Analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication skills and ability to cooperate with technical teams.

Nice to have

• Technical education, especially in electronics, automation, electrical engineering, or a related field.
• Knowledge of the electronic components market and its suppliers.
• Experience in purchasing for R&D projects or low-volume production.
• Experience in the space, aerospace, defence, automotive, or another high-tech industry.
• Knowledge of customs procedures and import/export processes.
• Experience working with ERP systems.
