Pre-Sales Manager - On-board Data Processing Units (DPU) for Space
Job description:
- Drive in bound lead generation through technical engagement, industry presence, and consultative selling
- Conduct technical presentations, proof-of-concept (PoC) engagements, and product demonstrations of our on-board DPU solutions
- Analyze customer technical requirements and design optimal solution architectures for satellite on-board data processing
- Collaborate closely with sales, bd, and enginering teams to prepare responses to RFPs and RFIs
- Build and maintain long-term relationships with key technical and business stakeholders - including satellite primes, NewSpace manufacturers, and institutional customers
- Translate customer mission requirements into technical recommendations
- Create technical documentation, case studies, and sales enablement materials
- Represent the company at international space industry conferences and trade shows (e.g.Space Tech Expo, IAC) - frequent travel required
- Support the sales team during technical and commercial negotiations
What we expect:
- 3-5+years of experience in a Pre-Sales Engineer, or similar role within the electronics industry
- Mandatory: proven commercial experience in electronics or FPGA sales, including technical pre-sales or customer-facing engineering roles
- Solid understanding of satellite on-board architectures, payload data processing, or space-grade computing
- Demonstrated ability to generate inbound leads and build pipeline through technical thought leadership and customer engagement
- Ability to conduct technical discussions with satellite engineers as well as business-level conversations with senior management and procurement teams
- Fluent English, both spoken and written (min. B2/C1)
- Full availability for frequent international travel (up to 50-60% of working time)
- Proven experience delivering technical presentations
Nice to have:
- Direct experience working with satellite primes and NewSpace manufacturers
- Background in space systems engineering, avionics, or embedded on-board computing
- Familiarity with space mission development cycles (Phase A-D) and procurement processes
